Lampard was one of 4 English internationals who missed training this morning at St Albans. Lampard, Terry, A.Cole and Wes Brown missed out training due to injury and sickness. But everybody except lampard are expected to play on Saturday against Andorra.
Although Lampard played on an injury against Tottenham on Sunday afternoon, he is currently resting and a decision by his club about his fitness will be made soon.
It is been made crystal clear that even if Lampard faces the possibility of even a small risk of injury, his club Chelsea have emphasized that he doesn’t play on Saturday.
Lampard told the press: “We want six points, simple as that. We’re expected to get three against Andorra and quite rightly so, but those games are not that easy. Hopefully we can score an early goal and go on and get a comfortable result.”
