Werder Bremen lost their second test match as part of the winter training camp. The Green-Whites had to accept a 4-1 (2-1) loss against Galatasaray Istanbul in the Third Place game of the Radyo-Cup. Sabri Sarioglu (10th minute), Arda Turan (15′), Ayhan Akman (81′) and Ferdi Elmas (82′) scored for the Turks, while Mesut Özil cut the deficit to 2-1 in the 40th minute.
