Manchester United have received another blow with the news that Bayern Munich winger Franck Ribery has stated that if he is o leave the club he is only interested in a move to Real Madrid.
“I have made up my mind, I want to leave,” Ribery said. “It will be Real or nothing.
“I am waiting to see how things will evolve. Then, I would like to have a talk with Bayern’s hierarchy.”
Bayern Munich’s general manager Uli Hoeness insists Ribery’s comments does not change their stance.
He said: “Franck wants to join Real? That doesn’t change anything to us. Real never did us any concrete proposition.
“The Real officials wanted to come to Munich, but we told them it was useless and they should save some plane tickets.
“We don’t need their money, and we will keep Franck come hell or high water.”
