Ze Roberto keen on MLS move

October 7, 2008

Reports in the German media have linked Bayern Munich’s Brazilian midfielder Ze Roberto with a move to MLS side FC Dallas.

The 34-year-old midfielders contract expires at the end of the season and he is believed to be tempted by a money spinning move to Major League Soccer.

The Brazilian spent ten years in the Bundesliga with both Bayern and Bayer Leverkusen.

“From my view my time here is over. I want to play for two years somewhere else,” he told Kicker sports magazine.

Bayern Munich chief Karl-Heinz Rummenigge is keen on keeping the Brazil international at the club and was prepared to offer the midfielder a new deal.

FC Dallas are keen on signing the Brazilian midfielder at the end of the season.
