Corinthians return to Brazil top flight

Corinthians are champions! After much suffering due to their demotion to the Series B in 2007, the faithful fans of Corinthians have another great reason to celebrate this season. After ensuring the return to elite with the triumph over Brazil, the Timao assured the title this Saturday, at Heriberto Hulse, with the victory by 2 to 0. The league title came thanks to Avaí tied with the CRB 1-1, meaning they could no longer catch the timao. The cries of sorrow gave the place of happiness and feeling of duty accomplished.

The Timao now has 76 points, 13 more than the Avaí, second placed. Tevez’s former team is set to rebuild for the coming season and have very ambitious plans with rumors about Adriano amongst other selecao regulars being entertained!
