The Belgian top clash between Club Brugge and RSC Anderlecht ended in a 1-1 draw. As a result, Brugge remain in first place.
Only four minutes had been played when in-form striker Wesley Sonck opened the score for the home side, but Boussoufa equalised for the Brussels outfit shortly after the break.
Anderlecht’s Frutos picked up a second yellow card with twelve minutes to go and will be suspended for his side’s next game.
Brugge now have 25 points from 12 games, one point more than KVC Westerlo who beat KAA Gent 3-2 on Friday. Anderlecht are third at two points from the leaders.
