Two goals from Maazou earned Lokeren a surprising and comfortable 0-2 lead at half time, and Dupre added a third to the away side’s account in the 53rd minute.
Legear got one back in the 65th minute and Frutos made it 2-3 eight minutes later, but Lokeren avoided further damage and took the win.
Anderlecht began the match day at one point from Brugge, who could now extend their advantage to four points if they beat Charleroi SC on Sunday.
