Rubin Kazan close in on Russian title
October 4, 2008
Rubin Kazan are another step closer to winning this year’s Russian Premier League. The leaders easily beat Spartak Nalchik on Saturday.
Not even a minute had been played in Kazan when Bukharov opened the scoring, and Milosevic doubled the lead fifteen minutes later.
Milosevic added another in the 53rd minute to help Rubin earn a convincing 3-0 victory.
Dinamo Moskva came back from behind to beat Saturn Mosk Oblast 2-1, with goals from Kokorin and Kerzhakov. As a result they move into second place but CSKA Moskva still have their game with FK Khimki ahead.
If CSKA win that match on Sunday, the difference between them and the leaders will be seven points with six games to go.
