De Rossi going nowhere

Roma midfielder Daniele De Rossi has been linked with a move away from the club after their disappointing season but he has declared we will not be leaving the club.

“Every year at Roma, around April or May, the rumours start spreading around,” he said.

“I’m very calm: I entrust my future to this shirt. A negative season will not make me change my mind, at least not to me.

“From the placing and results point of view, we did not do well, but not everything must be thrown away. In Europe we did well like against Arsenal, and in the league we were able to play great games at San Siro against Inter and Milan.”
