Giovinco Wants To Be The New Del Piero

December 4, 2008

Sebastian Giovinco may have not been enjoying the start of the season under Ranieri but he is still determined to remain a Bianconero for life and honour the black and white colours. Giovinco is rated as one of the best young Italian talent and he has shown his great skill during the small opportunity he has been given.

Giovinco has said that he wants to become a Juventus captain in the future and this will definitely shrug off claims from the press that he might be leaving Juventus to Arsenal, West Ham or any other Premiership team.

“I want to stay here, I’m from Turin and I’m attached to this shirt, stated Giovinco.”

“I’m working to become the Juve captain of the future. I’m happy also if I don’t play much.

“The important thing is to be in one of the best teams in the world. For a young player it’s the best thing possible, and for this reason, even if I don’t play much, it’s fair that I’m here to learn as much as possible.”
