Maxwell could cross Milan divide

Inter Milan left back Maxwell could be set for a move to city rivals AC Milan after falling down the pecking order at Inter under manager Jose Mourinho.

“I think that Maxwell’s Inter adventure is over,” his agent Mino Raiola said.

“He is the best left-back in Europe and there are always offers - we haven’t been short of those even this year.

“The relationship with the club is honest and for now I don’t see Maxwell being there next year.

“I wouldn’t discount Milan as a possible destination. He still has another year on his contract, but if both clubs agreed then why not?

“However, I do think it would be easier for Maxwell to go abroad to find another employer.”
