Roma coach, Luciano Spalletti, has refuted claims that a bid has been received for Italian international midfielder, Daniele de Rossi. It had been speculated that mega-rich Manchester City were interested in taking the player to the English Premiership.
However, the Giallorossi boss, insisted that no approach had been made for the tenacious midfielder:
“A multi-million offer by City for De Rossi? There has not been any offers.”
However, Spalletti did admit that De Rossi is a player that could attract such interest:
“…De Rossi is a player that is admired by many teams…These are players that it is difficult to do without.”
