Black Cats not Keane anymore

Reports are coming from Sunderland that manager Roy Keane has left the club.

The club and Irish boss have been locked in talks for the last 3 days about the future, including a new contract for Keane. But Keane has not appeared happy recently, and threw up doubts about his future last week following comments made to journalists on Friday about the club being in a better state when he leaves than when he took over.

Under the guidance of Keane, Sunderland have gone from the bottom of the Championship to gain promotion, survival in his first year in the Premiership but have struggled this term. After spending over £30m on players in the summer, and using 27 different players in the league so far this season the Black Cats find themselves in the relegation zone and out of form to boot.
