England have had two more players ruled out this afternoon, Steve Gerrard and Frank Lampard are the latest to drop out citing injuries.

Paul Robinson was called in to replace Joe Hart who came off in City’s game yesterday at Hull, and the latest news is that Gerrard (Groin) and Lampard (Rib) will not feature for Capello. Jimmy Bullard and Scott Parker have been brought in to replace the Liverpool and Chelsea midfielders.
John Terry still remains a doubt, he was taken off in Chelsea’s win at the Hawthorns on Saturday, so questions will be raised about captaincy and who’ll cover if Terry is not fit.
Fabio Capello has been forced to call up a few extra to the England Squad to face Germany in Berlin on Wednesday.
The Italian coach had said that he will likely give two of the young stars a start, and blend them with a strong team, but now that may well be difficult.
The original inclusions who have ’til now been fringe players, will be looking to get and then take their chance to claim a regular spot in the squad like Gareth Barry has managed to do in the last 18 months.
If Terry does not play, then Blues team-mate Wayne Bridge would be the highest capped outfield squad member available. Terry has though, come through this morning’s training.
Barry or David James might be in the frame to take the arm-band if the Captain does not make the pitch on Wednesday, and it would be likely that Matthew Upson would start with Curtis Davies, Joleon Lescott, Micah Richards and maybe even Michael Mancienne all hoping to impress in training.
