Former U21 Italian international Sebastian Giovinco will not be moving to West ham in the January transfer window according to his agent.
It’s not the first time the youngster has been linked with a move to the Premiership, there were rumors that Arsenal were interested in his services back in the summer. He has gained plenty of experience in Serie A at the young age of 22, in the 2007/2008 season he spent a year on loan at Empoli from Juventus to grow as a player, he was very successful, finding the net six times.
He is nicknamed “the atomic ant” by the fans in Turin because of his speed and his small height. He is a true fans favorite, but has failed to get first team action because of the summer signing of Brazilian Diego.
Giovinco has only featured four times for the old lady so far this season, but his agent Andrea D’Amico has insisted That Juve is the only club for him, he told TuttoMercatoweb.it. “He is not interested in any other option than to remain at Juventus”
Giovinco isn’t the only Italian who has been linked with West Ham this season, Bayern Munich striker Luca Toni was also linked with a January move to Zola’s side last month.
