Late Lecce break Milan hearts

Ronaldinho almost saved Milan again tonight who scored seven minutes from the end put Milan 1-0 Lecce. However, the match didn’t settle until injury time, Esposito headed for Lecce to equaliser for the match. Milan had to stop her four victories in a row. Lecce, as it is said, is not a lucky opponent for Rossoneri, who hasn’t take a three-points from Via Del Mare since 2002.

Milan has controlled the whole situation, but nothing came from that until Ronaldinho grasped his first away goal. In some sense, two  substitutions changed the match. Ronaldinho’s goal just crossed from Pato (substituted for Flamini) and Lecce’s goal came from a foul by Emerson (substituted for Ronaldinho). Other key players, Kaka had an anonymous performance and lost several golden opportunitoes. Borriello played very actively as usual, but still didn’t manage to score. Similar to Gilardino, Borriello has to face his new chanllege in Milan. Maybe he can find his position in Ancelotti’s tactic, but it’s not a simple thing to touch the ball to score for him though.

However, as Borriello said after the match “Football is truly strange, Thursday we won in injury time in a match we probably did not deserve to win, and today in injury time we drew a match we undoubtedly deserved to win.” I’m disappointed about the score, but this is football, that’s why we like it. Milan only held the top position one week after nearly four years, but will find her champion at the end of the season.
