Ancelotti Reveals Azzurri Ambitions

Former Ac Milan manager Carlo Ancelotti has admitted that he would one day like to manage Italy and As Roma. The former two –time champions league winning coach seems to have set himself future goals as a coach.

The Azzurri have qualified for the finals next year in South Africa with Marcello Lippi as their coach. It is the second time that Lippi will lead Italy into the finals, and whatever the outcome for the team next summer it could well be Lippi’s last act as manager according to the papers.

“I would like to coach Italy after the world cup” said Ancelotti. With Carlo only a couple of months into his new job at Chelsea it’s very unlikely that he will take the reigns anytime soon, But it seems evident that it’s a job he has his eye in the long term.

Having already had a successful time as a club Manger at Milan, Ancelotti this week also expressed his desire to manage back in Serie A, he said “I would like to return to Roma, it’s the only Italian club I would go to” It seems Ancellotti would like to return to the club that he once played for in the eighties.
