Drogba Is Back!

September 2, 2008

Chelsea striker, Didier Drogba is back from a knee injury caused from the Champions League final in May. Drobga played his first game today since his injury, he played with the reserve squad against the Gunners. He managed to play for 58 minutes without any complaints or pain. While playing he even managed to rack up one assist in the first half. Not bad for your first game back, after a long term injury.

This will come as good news to the club, Chelsea have been short of strikers. Recently releasing Sheva back to AC Milan. Anelka has been positioned at the front as a lone striker, with the return of Drogba this should encourage good competition between the pair. And they may bring out the best performance in each other.
