Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has stated that he likes playing for Arsenal and hopes to be at the club for many years to come.
The Spanish midfielder also stated that his future is not tied to his managers. “Of course we are talking about a very important person to me. I respect him a lot, but in football you try to achieve things as an individual.”
And the Spaniard added: “I hope that I will play football for another 10 or 12 years. I have no idea where that will be.”
Fabregas’ contract with Arsenal runs until 2014 but it is understood the club have offered him a new deal worth around £100,000 a week to ward of Europe’s big guns
