Huge Chelsea test for Liverpool

On Sunday, Liverpool FC will travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea in a top of the table clash. This day is much awaited by fans and players, as it is a day to see who is the best of the best. Hopefully, Liverpool will come away with all three points to their name, as it could mean being one step closer to claiming the Premiership title for the eighth time. This year The Reds have kick started the season with 0 losses in eight games, a wonderful way to set out for the silverware! However, they have a habit of reviving the score in the dying minutes of the second half while Chelsea, on the other hand, like to take advantage early on. Will this be enough for the Anfield boys?

After the Champions League meeting Wednesday, with Atletico Madrid, Robbie Keane seemed to have a groin strain and Xabi Alonso took a hit in the knee. They both seem ok to play now after a couple of days and there is a rumor that Fernando Torres could also appear on the pitch, if needed, since he is almost fully recovered from his hamstring tear.

Over the past few years, Liverpool picked up some skillful, creative, talented players and, last year, looked promising when Torres arrived from Spain and formed the “perfect strike-partnership” with Steven Gerrard. It has been five long seasons since this football club has stamped their name across England and the time is long overdue to do so again.

Liverpool have never won the Premiership… i dont know where you got:

“Hopefully, Liverpool will come away with all three points to their name, as it could mean being one step closer to claiming the Premiership title for the eighth time” from…

Check your facts before writing next time ok?

I totally agree with gruff, this article is so factualy in correct its laughable. The Premier League is now in its 17th season, Manchester United have won 10 times, Arsenal 3, Chelsea 2, Blackburn 1. So, where do these 8 Liverpool titles fit in?
ALSO, can you please explain this – “It has been five long seasons since this football club [liverpool] has stamped their name across England and the time is long overdue to do so again.” by this you must be refering to the 2003/04 season in which liverpool did sweet F.A. or perhaps your maths are wrong and you are refering to the 2002/03 season in which Liverpool won the League Cup, but I hardly call that a ‘stamp of authority on English Football’ Please explain where you got these facts from, I would love to hear it.
