Manchester United vs Juventus Match Preview

After that historic win in Moscow all united fans wanted to do was welcome their heroes home, but the police ruled out the option of an open top bus parade due to an earlier incident involving Rangers fans after their defeat in the Uefa cup final to Zenith St Petersburg in Manchester. It seemed wrong that united fans got punished because of some mind less yobs, but the club came up with a plan to make up for it…

Just over 2 months later the fans can show their appreciation and see two of footballs most prestigious trophy’s at the Theatre of Dream as the team will be parading them around the pitch prior to the friendly game against Juventus. In addition to the parade fans are can enjoy the Premier Cup ’08 Final featuring the worlds best under 15 footballers where fans can see the next budding Wayne Rooney Cristiano Ronaldo in action, this will be followed by highlights of last years triumphs shown on large screens. This will surely be a special occasion any United fan will not want to miss.

United have been doing well in pre season with a draw and two wins in their tour of South Africa and returned to OT with a win against Espanyol for Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s testimonial match. Frazier Campbell has been performing well, scoring the only goal against Espanyol, catching the managers attention. Ferguson has stated he expects Campbell to feature in the coming season. Maybe Campbell’s pre-season form has made Ferguson to re-think about dipping into the transfer market.

Juventus have been preparing in London last weekend, with an impressive win in the emirates cup against Arsenal on Saturday but suffered a 3 nil defeat to the tournament winners Hamburg on the Sunday.
Juve undoubtley will be stern opponents for United on Wednesday night. Football fans not just in Manchester should be in for a treat.

Transfer News
The Ronaldo saga continues with Schuster adding fuel to an already burning fire with his comments after Real Madrid’s 2-1 win over Hamburg on Saturday; I think the club is working hard to get a solution to this matter. We will have to see,”. Think I speak for most of the united fans when I say I am fed up with the whole Ronaldo situation, if he doesn’t want to play for the club then go. You didn’t see Cantona wanting to leave. It’s a great shame if he does decide to leave because he was becoming a United legend on par with Cantona.

Hull are still confident on getting Campbell back on a more permit deal but Ferguson has other plans for the young striker.Ferguson has responded with; Fraizer’s future is here, He is a progressive young player. He is quick and determined and he can do very well in the game.”
It would be great to see another youngster come through and make an impact, it’s far more pleasing than splashing out £38M on the likes of Berbatov.
