Spurs midfielders Luka Modric and Aaron Lennon have attracted some attention from big name clubs. Italian giants, Juventus and Inter Milan, have shown interest in the young Croatian Luka Modric while Aaron Lennon is catching the eye of Liverpool FC in England. It has been a rumor that manger Harry Redknapp would be selling the two playmakers in this summer’s transfer window. However, Redknapp quickly put that thought to rest.
He said, “We have some good players here and we are going to keep hold of our best players.” He added, “There is a lot of talk about one or two leaving, but we’re not going to be selling any of our best players this summer – that is for sure.”
This is good news for Spurs fans as Luka and Aaron are very, very important players for the club and it would be a shame to see them go. Luckily, Harry Redknapp knows talent when he sees it and he is professional enough not to let these young talented midfielders slip away. Over the summer, Redknapp is looking to build upon this season and the two midfielders are a vital part in the plans.
