Spurs still keen on Van Nistelrooy

Tottenham Hotspur prepares another bid for Ruud van Nistelrooy. The Spurs already tried to sign the Real Madrid forward last summer. Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp hopes he will succeed in January when the transfer window opens again.

This summer Van Nistelrooy insisted he wanted to stay at the Santiago Bernabeu to fight for his position. Now he accepts he`s unlikely to start many matches at Real.

Therefore, the 33-year-old is keen on a return to the Premier League. The former Manchester United striker should replace Roman Pavlyuchenko at White Hart Lane.

The Russian forward wants to leave the Spurs and is targeted by Zenit St Petersburg and AC Milan.
