Rangers slipped 4 points behind Celtic last night as they played out a 0-0 draw with Motherwell whilst league leaders Celtic cruised to a comfortable 3-0 win over Kilmarnock. Even though the gap has widened Davis insists no one at Ibrox is panicking quite yet and that there is a long way to go.
“We’re not looking at the league table at the moment.”
Gers boss Walter Smith claimed after the draw that a Kris Boyd goal which was disallowed for offside should have stood and Davis was in agreement with his manager
“The most disappointing thing was not to come away with the win especially when we had an offside decision going against us as well,” he added.
“We’re not panicking at the minute, there are still a lot of games to be played throughout the season. We just have to focus on Saturday’s game now.”
