Osasuna sack manager
October 13, 2008
Spanish Primera Division side Osasuna have sacked manager José Ángel Ziganda after the club’s recent string of disappointing results.
Osasuna currently occupy the sixteenth place in La Liga and haven’t won a single match so far.
Ziganda, who spent half of his career as player at Osasuna - and the other half at Bilbao - took on the position of coach in 2006. His highest achievement was reaching the semi finals in the UEFA Cup.
The likely successor of Ziganda is former Spain manager José Antonio Camacho, who left his job at Benfica last season.
