Thomson unhappy with draw

Rangers midfielder Kevin Thomson scored in injury time to earn Rangers a draw against Dundee United but he is unhappy  as he feels Ranger s should have had the 3 points.

“It’s definitely two points dropped because we should always be winning games at Ibrox.”

Rangers scored early and looked set to be on their but they soon found themselves behind and twice had to come back from a goal down. The game has left them trailing Celtic by 2 points in the league.

“It felt as though we were pushing and probing as hard as we possibly could, we had chances and a lot of times we had the ball in the box and just couldn’t get it in the net.”

“But thankfully it came in the end.”

“The boys midfield to front created a lot of chances and we could have scored five or six goals if we had taken those chances,” he said.

“We are a bit disappointed and defensively we could have done better. The three goals we conceded were poor so as a team we are disappointed about that. But the boys worked hard, stuck at it and got what we deserved.”
