Sneijder could have Real role
August 4, 2009
Real Madrid director Jorge Valdano has admitted to Spanish radio that Wesley Sneijder is part of Manuel Pellegrini’s plans at the club.
The Dutchman has long been linked with a move to Italian giants Inter Milan.
Sneijder has also been the subject of a €19million bid from Premier League side Aston Villa.
“Until it is proven otherwise, he is still a Real player,” Valdano told Cadena Ser.
“Our coach has a lot of confidence in his talents, therefore we are absolutely not under obligation to sell him.”
