Everton sign Jacobsen

Everton have finally completed their first transfer of the new season signing Denmark right-back Lars Jacobsen on a free transfer from Nurnberg on a one year deal.

Jocobsens deal was confirmed on Tuesday morning after he underwent a medical on Monday.

Moyes first signing should be available for the clash with Portsmouth at the weekend but he is hoping it won’t be his last addition to the team.

Moyes confirmed at the weekend that his squad need quantity and quality believing he needs as many as 6 or 7 new players in before the transfer deadline but some of these may be loan deals.
