Milan linked with move for Biava

AC Milan have been linked with Genoa defender Giuseppe Biava with Brazilian defender Thiago Silva going the other way.

“My cell phone has been ringing incessantly ever since this story was printed,” said the players agent Giorgio Perrelli.

“If it was true, we would be very happy. It is just paper talk at the moment, Milan have not called me, nor have they contacted the Grifoni director of sport, but Giuseppe would be very flattered by this reported interest.

“I will have a meeting with the Rossoblù directors this evening, prior to the Coppa Italia game with Inter, and I will definitely ask them about these whispers.”

All transfer speculation surrounding AC Milan is mostly being drowned out after David Beckhams appearance in an AC Milan shirt last weekend with rumours rife the England international is going to stay longer than his initial loan period.
