After passing successfully the medical tests, the Slovakian national left wing Dusan Svento has finally signed the contract with Austrian league champion Salzburg.
Svento, aged 24, has signed the contract for 3 years. He has been picked up by the new coach Huub Stevens,who has been impressed by his technical skills as well as the ability to play anywhere on the left side of the field.
Svento is rumoured to join Salzburg for 2 mil EUR after spending 4years in Slavia Prague which he had won 2 consecutive league titles with and scoring in total 6 goals in 86 games.He was awarded as the best foreign player in the czech league in the 2005/06season.He will meet in his new club with another former Slovakian national midfield player Vladimir Janocko.
Svento was already close to join english Derby County in the summer of 2007 but during his probation training he got badly injured and was out of the game for more than six months.
