Manchester United have confirmed that they have been granted work permit for 21-year-old Serbian Zoran Tošić.
The winger who appears to be the result of a lengthy search to find a successor to Ryan Giggs, looks likely to join United in January, it has not been confirmed that a deal has been agreed yet though.
Tošić, who’s nickname is ‘bambi’ has scored nine goals in 20 games so far this season with Partizan Belgrade and has now established himself as an important member of Serbia’s senior side after initially impressing for the Under-21s.
It has been reported that the young Serb will cost the English and European Champions around £8m, but what is certain is that he will be clear to join subject only to a medical once a financial deal has been agreed.
